About Me
Ahoj I’m Dany! Welcome to my profile – a small introduction to the way I see the world.
Right now, I’m between Brno and Vienna. Thought most of the time I’m in Brno where I work and study. Hopefully one day I will be a translator of Dutch and Czech.
The world flows, I dance or let myself be drifted by the stream.
There are no borders, everything becomes one and bursts away in scilence.
I see, I hear, I taste, I feel, I laugh.
No good, no bad, no ugly and beautiful.
People are like planets, I discover.
I speek quite few languages. Like Czech and English, Dutch and German and Polish as well.
I came back to learning French which is a challenging language for me. Soon I'll take a closer look at Russian. It's simply fun to wrap my mind around it!
I always try to make the best out of the moment, enjoy the little things. stay positive, relax...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with people. I love it! Making friends all around the globe sounds like a great fun to me.
I started using couchsurfing in December 2017 mainly to be hosted during my travels. And I ended up hosting many amazing travelers myself. Meeting people and seeing new places - those are the two goals for my journeys.
Interests
I’m into literature, art, music, nature and bikes.
I don't consider travelling as a hobby, for me it's rather normal thing to do. I'm "home" on different places around Europe. Unfortunately I haven't visit any other continent yet... I also like to discover places which are the nearest to me. It's important to get to know your home land and stay curious.
When I travel, I always try to get the authentic feeling of the unknown place. To get to know a city, I like to walk around and look behind every corner. The last time i became a huge fan of the use-it maps (they are full of great tips from locals) and i collect them as a trophies from the places I've been to.
In the winter time I enjoy skiing and ice-skating. I bike in any weather. And in summer I go camping, kayaking and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books
Reading is one of the top things to do for me. Here are some books that I find very remarkable and would recommend to anybody. I wish people would tell me which books are really worth reading because I have a hard time picking one. So if you have a favorite book please let me know about it and I will give it a try.
"On the road", "Der Process" plus "Die Vervandlung" by Franz Kafka, "Hamlet", "One day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich", "Conerry row", "Tortilla Flat" and "Of Mice and Man"... if i had to pick my favourite autor then I would say John Steinbeck. "Kytice" "Máj", Albert Camus "The Stranger".
What I read effects my personality a lot so the characters form all books I've read blend all together into the person I'm today.
(If you want to be hosted by me please tell me your favourite title or author, or mention books in any way, so that I can be sure who read my profile and who didn't)
I lisen to music on daily basis. Huge NTS fan :)
