About Me

I am a very friendly person, who is always smiling because I think smiles are the best way to say: "hey, you're very welcome here".
Right now I am living in Hamburg, Germany (mein Traumland) working, learning the language and culture.
However, I am very mexican and love it (my language, my history, my people, my food, my traditions, my music, my landscapes).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love sharing and this act of sharing your couch, which I find very intimate, is amazing.
By staying with locals I get a deeper perspective of the places I visit, recommendations of good places to spend a good time and see what this place has to offer.
Besides, I love people and meeting people from other cultures enriches me.
I would like to offer you a place when I settle or have my own apartment,

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and literature, I can recommend and I'm open to recommendations.

Music: I love deep melancholic voices. Interpol, The Editors, AnnenMayKanterei, Daughter, Beach House, The Strokes, Ibeyi. Also Latin artists (Natalia Lafourcade, Caloncho, Calle 13) and traditional Mexican music.

Books: one of my favorite of all times is On The Road (Jack Kerouac). I also liked very much The catcher in The Rye (JD Salinger) and all Simone de Beauvoir’s novels. Peluda (Melissa Lozada-Olivia) and El Laberinto de la Soledad (Octiavio Paz).

Movies: 50 First Dates (makes me laugh every time), LOVE (Gaspar Noé), Rushmore (Wes Anderson) and mostly real story-movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled to the other side of the world because I was in love. This may not be amazing for you but it was for me since it helped me realize how life works in a misterious way and also to learn more about myself. Love moves mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are visiting me in Mexico, I can show you my city and places to eat delicious food and where to have a good time. I can also share my language and I am interested in learning new words from many different languages.
There’s always something to learn from everyone, so let’s find out.
