I am Czech, born and raised in the beautiful city of Prague, that I deeply love and that´s probably why I moved out of the city as I am kind of fed up with what mass tourism did to it.

Having a hospitality and tourism background myself, and having a very curious nature, I enjoy creating meaningful experiences with and for people who are trying to understand the real essence of my culture and overall want to enjoy what this beautiful country has to offer also outside of Prague and can appreciate the less touristy places.

I am passionate about hiking, nature, travelling and exploring new places, I am a foodie who enjoys cooking very much, especially Italian and Mexican food. I am very much into the culture of especially Latin American countries, I am completely in love with Chile (which I consider my second home) and Argentina. I am a mom to a nearly 18-years old piece of fluff called Arthur the Cat, my spirit animal.

I am a big dreamer, most of the time I am just floating around in my internal world and you can feel fortunate if I let you have a glimpse of it :D In all seriousness, I consider myself a kind person who enjoys having a good time during meaningful or less meaningful conversations over a glass of local beer or a good coffee (I am strongly coffee and mate-fueled) on many topics or a lovely city or nature stroll. I am an introvert, but many people don´t believe it, especially after getting to know me better. When I click with someone, you will learn how affectionate I am and how much of a supportive friend I can be.

I feel like I have too many hobbies considering how few time there is left outside of working hours, I am very much into home improvements, all kinds of crafts, interior design (I love the 70s and 80s both in interior and fashion design). I am a lot into thrifting decor and furniture for my home and nice, unique, vintage, fashionable clothing pieces (I looove flea markets). I enjoy things that have a soul, not cookie-cutter style items that I can see everywhere, which don´t really show any invention and bore me to death.

Apart from the aforementioned things, I collect books on native Latin cultures, architecture (I love the Gothic style, Art Deco, Functionalism and Brutalism), interior and product design, I have always been fascinated by history.

From sports, apart from hiking, I enjoy biking, kayak, horse riding, and pretty much anything outdoorsy, you most likely would not find me sitting at home doing nothing. I am not good at resting, unless the weather is really bad.

I love thrillers and horror movies.

I love the thrill of trying out new things and having new kinds of experiences, hence the love for travelling and exploring, just as meeting new people that I can learn from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to meet new people from all over and create new friendships with someone that I would simply click with on a human level due to sharing the same hobbies or life opinions. I always try not to judge.
