About Me

I was born and raise in the beautiful country of Honduras [Central América ;)]. My undergrad is in environmental engineering, career I completly love. I am an applied ecology master student currently living in Poitiers, France (until february 2017) and I'll be moving to Kiel, Germany on March 2017. Im all about environmental protection, permaculture, animal rights, women rights, LGTB rights and overall trying to be a better person every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make friends and meet people from everywhere and learn from them. I don't really like studying (conventional way) but I love LEARNING and there is no better way to do that than talking to people that know more than you, have lived more, travel more and generally are different. The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people. <3

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is in spanish, mostly latin american rock: going from Charly García (<3) and his projects specially Serú Girán and Sui Generis, Soda Stereo, Enanitos Verdes, Caifanes, Café Tacuba, Zoé, Alux Nahual and my favorite ones are Cafe Guancasco and Pez Luna, both from Honduras.

In general I love music, specially going to concerts and listening to live music. Jazz, blues, reggae, metal, rock, salsa, latin rythms....

Movies: La Noche de Los Lápices (from Argentina). I LOVE HORROR MOVIES! from the classical ones like The Shinning all the way to gore and slasher films.

Books: Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina by Eduardo Galeano and La Ciudad de las Bestias by Isabel Allende. In general I like to read about history and nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in Honduras I had an animal welfare organization were I would rescue stray dogs and cats, take them to the vet, restore them physically and emotionally and give them up for adoption. Saving animal lifes is probably one of the best things a human can do. :)

Swimming with sharks, pinguins and marine turtles in the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning, so I think this is a great opportunity to learn from everyone and about everything: biology, politics, religion, whatever that pops to our minds.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An easygoing conversation, a drink and many stories. :)
