Overview
About Me
Chilean nomad living the experience of Europe for a couple of years.
1. France: Finishing a great experience in this beautiful country while living in Lyon, learned a little bit of French and a lot about the culture, the people, the skiing, the food and the wine. I had the opportunity to work in the Alps packing Reblochon and in Beaujolais for the vendanges. Missed some cities that I wanted to go, specially because of COVID19, but I'll sure be back in some point.
2. Sweden: I arrived in November 30th 2020, and currently doing WorkAway exchanges. I'm not afraid of the cold weather or the lack of sun, I may travel through Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark if everything goes well.
3. moving to Germany soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm in couchsurfing in order to meet new local people in the cities I visit, so I can learn about the worldview in the city and the country, and the different lifestyles of the people living there. I want to embrace the multiculturalism of our world, not to divide but to amaze. For this, I don't want to hang out only with tourists (which happens a lot when you're staying in hotels), because I came to this specific country to this specific city for a reason.
I'm hosting so I can meet new people from different parts of the globe, so we can be tourists together since I wasn't born here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went backpacking to Bolivia, with less than 300 dollars. I had to travel almost two days in trucks only to get to the border of Chile and Bolivia. I wanted to shower so bad...
I went hiking with no training to a beautiful place in Chile: Cordillera de Nahuelbuta. It may not sounds amazing, but I had the opportunity to see the mountains (Cordillera de los Andes is our natural border with Argentina) and the ocean (the other natural border). I saw the width of my country. It was an amazing experience for me.
I went to Montreal, a city where english (my second language) is the second language. I was so afraid, but québécois are really nice and patient, so I never had problems with my awful and nonexistent french. I went to the igloofest during winter and I didn't get pneumonia!!
I drove by the wrong side of the road in New Zealand. And I F*CK*NG hate driving.
I spent the winter of 2020 in a small village in the French Alpes, working among French people where I had to speak French and practice the whole time. I learned to ski a little bit there, and it was amazing.
