Overview
About Me
I am 20 and I attend the University of Tampa in Florida, but I grew up in New Jersey, was born in Guatemala and now studying for a semester in London! Slowly but surely trying to get all around the world and experience a variety of cultures. At school I am a leader of a Latino/Hispanic bible study, but don't assume I don't know how to have fun, I am ALWAYS down for an adventure. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm just a college student on a budget, as I assume most people are, but I would like to know more of the world without having to sell a limb. My major is International and Cultural Studies and I have no idea what I want to do with my life, so I feel like the more I live, the more I will know.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm taking a "Modern popular music" class right now so I've been digging jazz and rock 'n' roll recently. Honestly, I give every music genre a chance. If you looked at my Spotify playlist it is the most diverse group of songs ever. I like me some Drake and Frank Ocean now and again, acoustic artists like Alex and Sierra and James Bay, Rihanna, and even some 70's oldies, even some Sam Hunt on a good day.
As for movies, I am very easy to please. As being a 20 year old girl, cheesy films about romance are my guilty pleasure, but throw in some superhero movies or action films, documentaries and especially comedies and I'm there. I'm not a picky person.
I honestly wish I had more time to read and if given the chance, I would read more crime fiction, but at the moment my favorite author has to be either Ted Dekker or James Patterson although I'm also trying to read more classics. There just aren't enough hours in a day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It would definitely have to be last New Years for 2016, I went to a retreat in St. Louis, Missouri and I sadly wasn't able to spend Christmas or New Years with my family, but the Conference called Urbana was definitely life changing. Great times with great people!
