My name is Daniela. I am a scientist-to-be, a musician, an activist and most definitely a perfectionist.

I am not a morning person and I am constantly 5 minutes late.
But apart from that I guess you'll find me uncomplicated, good-humoured and open-minded :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I first tried couchsurfing when travelling around Mexico. I find it a great way to meet locals and experience the places you are visiting from a slightly less touristy perspective.

兴趣

I love playing clarinet - be it alone, with my woodwind quintet or with my orchestra.

I love cooking and eating, which is a convenient combination...

And I enjoy traveling. One day I'll pack my bag to travel Latin America from Mexico to Kap Horn.

My favourite book is Inkblood (sequel to Inkheart). In this book the main character "reads" herself into a fantasy book. I'd love to do that too sometimes (alternatively, a wardrobe to Narnia or a letter from Hogwarts would be nice).

Honestly, I mostly read teenage fantasy books because they are more imaginative and far less cruel than fantasy novels for adults. :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing place on earth I have seen is Calakmul, a Mayan site in Mexico hidden in the forests. Sitting atop the pyramids you see nothing but trees (and monkeys) and will forget about anything further beyond the horizon.
