About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I believe that travelling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. I adventurous & I love exploring new places & meeting new people. Couchsurfing is ideal cause it will allow me to meet locals and experience the location from their percpective :)

ABOUT ME

I’m 22 years old and I’m currently in my final year of university. Even though I study accountancy I love art and everything about it and travelling. I think these two aspects of my life are rather intertwined. Travelling is my biggest art inspiration; it helps open my eyes to all the wonderful places that surround us and all the different ways of life out there. I feel that travelling makes me a better rounded person by allowing me to experience a lot of different cultures. I feel that when visiting a new country you’re enriching your life, whether it’s by tasting a French pastry in Paris for the every first time, sipping coffee in an Italian piazza, setting up an easel and painting in Saint Paul de Vence, having tapas in Spain, or skiing in Livigno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the best experiences I have had was when I first went skiing. I come from Malta which is a very hot country with no mountains, so I was quite old when I first skied. It was something that I had always wanted to do and when I actually went it was so much fun.
I also loved my travels to South America and the Caribbean. The culture is so different there and the landscapes are so wonderful.

Teach, Learn, Share

I feel that when travelling it is important to plan and be prepared but at the same time I think you should let the day guide you. Travelling is not only about the things you see, it’s about how you experience it. I believe that when travelling I think that one should sit back and take a moment to observe life going by, one should get ‘lost’ wondering in the streets and strike-up conversations with locals to fully experience the place.
