One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A partir del acompañamiento a un proyecto social con una Fundación integrada por recolectores, pensé que mi carrera debía ser útil no solo en procesos económicamente rentables y con ímpetu de reconocimiento material, sino como dedicación a esta población tan vulnerable y poco reconocida por nuestra sociedad. El propósito de esta organización es ser una Red lider en la generación de servicios ambientales con énfasis en el manejo y aprovechamiento de residuos sólidos recuperables, promoviendo así la valoración del talento humano que tienen los asociados con el propósito de generar mejores ingresos y calidad de vida para los mismos.

As accompaniment to a social project with an integrated by collectors Foundation, I thought my career would be useful not only in economically profitable processes and momentum material recognition , but as commitment to this vulnerable population and little recognized by our society. The purpose of this organization is to be a leading network in the generation of environmental services with emphasis on the management and utilization of recoverable solid waste , thus promoting the value of human talent with partners in order to generate better income and quality of life therefor.

Cada vez me interesa más la reutilizacion y transformación de desechos sólidos que son desperdiciados por la comunidad. Me gustaría aprender técnicas y así mismo enseñar las que he aprendido durante mi experiencia en la universidad y en la vida.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mi propósito como diseñadora es brindar mi conocimiento profesional en la calidad de vida de un grupo social, adicionalmente la búsqueda permanente por el mejoramiento y buen trato del material desechado, por explorar el aprovechamiento de los recursos mal llamados “BASURA”, generando cambios de actitud hacia la protección y conservación del medio ambiente, a través del uso adecuado de materiales de desecho, con los que se elaborarán elementos para el hogar.
Finalmente presentar una alternativa sana de ocupar el tiempo libre, concientizando a la sociedad y a los generadores de residuos sólidos reciclables sobre la importancia de combatir la contaminación ambiental y minimizar los riesgos en los seres humanos y el impacto en el medio ambiente, sensibilizando así, su condición dentro del sistema.

My goal as a designer is to provide my professional knowledge on the quality of life of a social group , further the ongoing search for improvement and good treatment of waste material , to explore the use of resources so-called "junk" , generating changes in attitude to the protection and conservation of the environment, through the proper use of waste materials , with household items that will be developed .
Finally present a healthy alternative to occupy free time , raising awareness in society and generators of recyclable solid waste on the importance of combating environmental pollution and minimize risks in humans and the impact on the environment , raising awareness and his condition within the system.
