My wife Giulia and I were avid CSers for many years from 2009-2012 (hosting and surfing- see references) but took an extended break when we had our first child (Gabriel). Well, he's now almost 2 and it's time for him to get out and explore and meet all the lovely people in the world! We integrate Gabriel with everything in our lives and we hope CSing will be no different.

As for me (Daniel), I'm a very balanced person, who can go from speculative philosophical conversations to laughing about South Park in a moment. I'm always exploring new ideas, places, and people. I've written a book trying to interpret an amazing series of events that began about 3 years ago in India and continues to today... Now, along with Giulia, I am very passionate about living a Buddhist way of life while being actively involved in trying to make the world a better place.

Giulia spent a few years in India, discovering the treasures of meditation and am now learning ways to water the seeds of an awakened heart, learning to integrate the fruits which have been growing in silence and solitude of retreats into the day to day life, giving voice to the silence and hands to the heart.

Our philosophy: In order to live a life without reservation...you must live a life without reservations!

We shared an amazing two week journey through Quebec and the Maritimes- a half dozen hosts restored our faith in the goodness of humanity. We then hosted a dozen people in Montreal over the last years, and it was also amazing. We've surfed in India, Iceland, France, and Peru and love meeting new people. We hope now that we can continue exploring as a family!
