About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm currently interested in visiting different cities in the US and Japan. I'd also like to visit Amsterdam and perhaps Switzerland and France

ABOUT ME

I'm in love with learning new stuff -anything. I like to spend quite a few hours every day either reading, writing or just getting lost in big Mexico City. I have a passion for languages and my dream is to someday be able to speak 8-10 Ianguages fluently. I wouldn't consider myself an introvert nor an extrovert, I actually think I'm somewhere in-between.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have anything that I would be willing to call a personal philosophy, but I believe in working hard for the stuff you want.

Interests

I love reading & writing;
I have a thing for trying new foods; my favorites are Japanese, Mexican, Indian and Korean;
I really like walking for long periods of time, but for some mysterious reason dislike running;
Among the things I enjoy the most is learning about other cultures, especially Asia (I have a thing for Asia);
I like weight training.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book authors ever are Milan Kundera and Haruki Murakami;
Other amazing books I've read: Soul Mountain, the Loneliness of Prime Numbers, A Separate Peace;
I like a lot of technical books, like science-y things;
Movies: everthing by Studio Ghibli;
I really like electronic and classical music; traditional japanese, chinese and indian music is awesome too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a thing for languages. I wouldn't consider myself a teacher of any one of them, though, except maybe Spanish. I'm willing to teach that to anyone who wants to learn. Oh, and here's something cool: I'm a HUGE fan of Mexico City's slang vocabulary, because I find it incredibly diverse, funny and witty: I assure you, that's something NO textbook will teach you, and once you "get it" you are ready to laugh your ass off with friends.
When it comes to lamguages, I'm interested in learning Russian, German, French, Arabic, Japanese, Hindi, Chinese, Persian and Greek.
