Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I like to get a taste of how the locals live. It's the best way to really experience a new place. Meeting people and hearing their stories is such a cool part of travel, and it's so easy to do that through couchsurfing.

I've hosted people and couchsurfed and have always met positive people who have a similar outlook on life. Plus, staying at a fancy hotel sounds kind of boring. I always wonder if I'd still think that if I were rich..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All of the things.

Backpacking in Europe for 6 weeks on an extremely tight, dirtbag budget. If you want to see a lot but spend not a lot, let me know. You gotta be willing to sacrifice on some "essentials."

Leaving Chicago and moving to Denver on my own, without a plan. Thank goodness for great friends.
