About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore and to contribute to a better world

ABOUT ME

I am a citizen of the world, and I was born in Portugal. I am a nomad soul, a dreamer... when I was small I genuinely believed I could fly but It ended badly!! I love to explore the world, get to know different cultures and exchange knowledge. I am passionate about social innovation, helping others, education (especially early development, special needs and Waldorf philosophy), alternative medicine, energy healing, arts and everything that involves Nature . I've lived in a few countries for quite a while but now my heart is telling me that is time to explore even more and to volunteer around the world...and here I am, ready to embrace the adventure!

PHILOSOPHY

This is my philosophy and my message to the world: Take every chance. Fall in love. Buy that ticket. Quit your job. Dance that music. Sing, sing, sing …it energises you and it boosts your mood! Eat that chocolate without feeling guilty. Be grateful to the universe for who you are and for those that surround you. Laugh until your tummy hurts, cry until you can't speak. Forgive, kiss, smile, run and always apologise. Tell the truth. Date someone completely different to you. Talk to strangers. Smile at them, hug them. Say yes, always. Get addicted to this little word, it can take you really far. Even if it's far behind, no problem. Fall badly, get up, get the dust out of your pants and start again. Fall is another way to fly... so learn with that and fly as many times you need to see what's behind that cloud. Try again. Travel, travel, travel. Get to know different people, be curious about your differences, our differences and identities are some of the most interesting things to explore in the World. Respect everyone. Always be available to help and listen to people, see yourself in them. Take care of our Planet and be thankful for it more than anything. Do embarrassing stuff until you no longer get embarrassed about it. Do one thing everyday that scares you!! Don't bother with social standards, just be kind. Be gentle, be patient, be humble and be calm in your heart. Let your heart speak, always. Put yourself in everyone's shoes and be compassionate. Live, live, live now, the present....feel the wind on your skin, feel the love of mother earth... and don’t worry about the future!! Don't waste any opportunity to laugh at a situation, or to laugh at yourself. Don't ever waste time judging other people's way. Let them follow their own path, you never know what they're going through. Remember compliments that people gave you and don't bother with insults. When people insult you, its their problem not yours, how sad it is to make people sad!! Love the power of your beauty, love your body as your very best asset, regardless of what it looks. Don't read beauty magazines as it always make you to feel ugly. Be secure of who you are, and if people don't get it that is OK. You get it.... and the most important thing it remember to yourself who you are and not what you have!!

Just focus on trying to make your time here and everyone else's as happy as possible!
As Gandhi was used to say "Be the change you want to see in this world."
