About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I try to bring new colours in my life...

ABOUT ME

Hmm...this part is allways dificult.. have to think about...so I am sorry, but I am going to tell you later what a nice, most of the time open-minded, tolerant and shy but curious person I am.
When I finished my thinking, you will be able to read things here like:
I love learning new languages which is I guess a part of my 'swissness' as we are forced to learn foraign languages from an early age. I love my country (especially the mountains ans the chocolate) but I want to see as much as I can of this planet. I love music and singing (but now, I don't want to be a super star).
Yes..thats it..but this is just the raw version..I am going to correct that later..

PHILOSOPHY

Just keep swimming...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I came to Edinburgh about 7months ago due to study 3months English here and to do the FCE. But then I felt in love: First with this beautiful city and, about three days later with a man (my man now.. =P) so I decided to start living here. It is quiet dificult seeing all your 'schoolfriends' leaving the city after e period of time. But it is also a chance to make new friends and thats why I am on CS..to meet new people and to make my stay here as exciting as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any couchsurfing expiriences but I heard a lot ofpositive things from other people.

Interests

My passion is chocolate (helpful for a pastry cook) and I have about 10 chocolate-books..basically because of the nice pictures...

I am interestet in architecture and anyway in nice looking things (like cars, plants, all kind of shapes). I can say, a am a visual person and the whole world is like a big museum. (I can get very excited about a autumn tree..)

I think cooking is as relaxing as yoga and I always use a ton of spices (even for a simple salad)

I love animals. I was used to have cats around me since I can think. Due to the place I am living now, having a cat would be complicated..But I am a proud 'owner' of two beautiful and very very talkative budgies.

I am in general a curious person with a lot of interests. I am fascinated by mathematics, by the Middle Age as much as by celtic rituals. I want to learn as many different things I can in my life which makes it almost impossible for me to find the perfect field of study..

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: Whiteout (Ken Follett), La dame aux camélias (A. Dumas fils) Moon place (Paul Auster), Maria Stuart (Friedrich Schiller), Der Verdacht (F. Dürrenmatt)

Music: White Mink, Psaap, Muse, Züri West, Funk and Jazz in general, Metalica, Adele

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen a lot of wunderful places. I think one of the most exciting 'travelmoment' was the first view of the skyline of New York. And seeing the sunrise from Arthur's seat in Edinburgh.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I don't really know what to write here. I can teach Swiss German, but I guess this is not helpful as it is only a spoken language so without grammar and such stuff. I know quiet a lot about baking and working with chocolate (I made an apprenticeship as pastry cook)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
