About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to travel, experience, learn, see, taste and feel the World!
ABOUT ME
Personal description - tough one. If I had to use one word, it would probably be diverse. I'm really into adventure. Travelling and meeting new people while seing and experiencing other parts of the world. I love the adrenalin rush when doing something extreme; abseiling, ziplining, skydiving (which I haven't done yet but want to try)and diving. Yet I do like chilling out as well and just taking your time to walk along the beach, read a book or watch a movie. That is equally important to me.
I like a lot of different things, and I am quite openminded to try something new - otherwise I probably wouldn't be here on CS writing a personal description ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to get behind the facades of hotels. I want to get to know the place I'm at, and how better to do that, than through advice from a local?

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
The Lord of the Rings, a classic! I think historical movies are awesome. I'd really recommend "The Flowers of War"
Books:
A Song of Ice and Fire - can't wait for the series to be continued! Meanwhile I've been reading "Empress Dowager Cixi", which is about the lady who transformed China from a medieval empire into a modern country.
Music:
I listen to pretty much everything. Recently I've been listening a lot to a band called Beirut.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going on a solotrip to Asia for 10-months probably has to be one of the most amazing things I've done. It's hard to tell what experience was the most amazing, but Gunung Bromo in Indonesia was pretty stunning. I was so lucky as to be there in time for a hindufestival, where the hindus throw offerings into one of the active craters.
