ABOUT ME

I'm a goof ball. I'm an artist of sorts, fine art and illustration are two of my strong suits but photography is something i also do. i am currently getting to the art of tattoos (its expensive). though i'm an artist i am not pretentious; i find the pretentious to be quite irate and closed minded. i love food. my moms a cook and naturally the love was passed down to me. i wish to be a chef one day Pan Asian/southeast asian fusion cuisine seems to be what i lean toward. i have a girlfriend of two years. she's fucking awesome and i love her. she's a student at Laney as well. she's crafty so naturally she's in the art department as well. Though i've worked in theater since high school we both have worked crew for theater while myself i work in the technical side (light board op/sound board). I currently work at Vans Shoes in emeryville...the pay isn't amazing and the hours arent very good but i honestly really enjoy working there and i get 50% off everything so thats a plus. i've been wearing Vans since i could remember and the history of the company is a humble one. i am currently looking for another job too (something i should really get on). So, as you can see, my hands are in a lot of things. i love to stay busy, trade stories, drink and be merry with an awesome plate of bbq laugh and have fun. hope you're the same.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

whether we like it or not the world and the people in it are changing; some for the worse and some for the better. things aren't the way they used to be. however i feel like theres still a chance for people to get together on a whim or through chance and have a human connection through common traits, interests or what have you. I participate in sharing these views with my friends (other surfers as well) and those unsure or misguided by what it is we do as surfers of couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've been couch surfing since i was 18. the address included in my profile is my last known address: home. however that is not the case so much. it just so happens as i type this i'm on a friends couch that i've been sleeping on for some time. it can be hard at times but i've learned a lot from it. stay on your toes at all times!

Interests

music (metal, punk, ska, reggae, golden oldies, 90's music just to name a few genres), any decent well made movie (anything Kubrick), FOOD, a good quality brew, a good quality wine, a good quality rum or whiskey, board games, nightlife/venues/concerts, reading, writing, zombies, i am obsessed with bbq, technology, hiking, biking sleeping normal hours, baseball, football, boxing, any decent mini series (currently watching THE WALKING DEAD, fuckin awesome) and uhh yeah thats a lot to take in right now anything else you wanna know just gimme a holler.
