About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To change the world and meet some great people along the way.
ABOUT ME
I hail from Miami, Florida (the Northern capital of South America) and since have moved around the States until moving to Ann Arbor to study at University of Michigan .
While in school I began working in Detroit at an Urban shrimp farm in a converted abandoned building and founded the College Cryptocurrency Network (collegecrypto.org). An International Organization dedicated to proliferating Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoins) on University Campuses. During this time I fell in love with the city and decided to take my talents here upon graduating.
Some call Detroit obsolete and abandoned, but I see it as the land of opportunity. I currently spend my time operating a fish distribution company (detroitseafoodpartners.com) providing Michigan grown fish to local restaurants and commuting part time to Nairobi, Kenya where I work for a mobile money startup (Bitsoko.co.ke). Nairobi is the silicon valley of Africa, so alive with innovation and excitement.
I am currently traveling a lot to different places in the world to speak about and evangelize the future of fish farming and Bitsoko. I have already met some amazing people in my first experiences couch surfing and can't wait to meet more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When a Detroit techno crew meets their Berlin counterparts, epicness will always unfold. Great times in Berlin.
Interests
I am interested promoting and supporting open source and decentralized innovations (Bitcoins, Couchsurfing, Uber, Yelp, hitchhiking) that help empower people.
Bitcoins are here to change the world of money sharing & I am dedicated to be a part of the movement. (Willing to set any couchsurfing friends up with their first Bitcoins!)
I am deeply involved in community projects in Detroit and love to see up and coming places in new cities.
I have a great passion for Urban Farming & locally grown foods. I have great experience and enjoy growing, preparing, and cooking foods.
My music interests are heavily influenced by Detroit Funk and Techno. I like to hear new music and am always down to dance.

Books: The Four Seasons Harvest by Eliot Coleman. (Generally am reading Agriculture books)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Was given the amazing opportunity to be a part of Urban revival in Detroit through urban farming. With my professors from the University of Michigan, I turned a once abandoned building in Detroit into a thriving indoor Shrimp Farm. The block has since given birth to many different types of urban farms, and I look forward to seeing how much more this transformation can benefit the city.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach how to cook, grow your own produce, practically anything and more about Bitcoins, and endless amount of random facts.
Always looking learn new languages, ways of thinking, and new information about the world.
