About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting travelers while staying in my hometown of Tucson, Arizona.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in several countries and make a living teaching English. I taught in Beijing for 2 1/2 years before coming to Gaziantep, Turkey and teaching at a private university. Currently I am working on my writing and online teaching career. I have a bachelor's degree in linguistics with a Spanish minor and currently study philosophy on my own.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for experiences and learning new things. I love meeting new people. I'm interested in philosophy itself and love discussing it with people I meet! My favorite philosopher is Hilary Putnam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best couch surfing experience involved actual surfing before this site was introduced. I was hitchhiking along the California coast when I got picked up by a surfer. He asked if I wanted to join him, so I said yes. He let me put on a wetsuit and I got go surfing with him. He then invited me home and he and his wife cooked me dinner. What a great experience!!!

Interests

I love travelling, writing, meeting new people, extreme sports and living life to the fullest. I just did a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey, which was amazing. I am also an avid reader.
