About Me

For the last 3 years my housemate and i have hosted quite a few surfers together, via her account
https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/artist.of.vagrancy
and it has been an amazing experience, making new friends and sharing part of my world and recieving part of theirs. If you are concerned that this profile has no reviews by all means look there :)

I try to be as friendly and open minded as possible- and then more so! and sustainability and being eco-friendly is also very important to me. I enjoy company- whether it is sitting and having a good conversation or walking in silence or reading books, just to have other friendly people around is really nice :)
I try to realise my flaws and change and grow and always like trying new things!
I REALLY like food. O.O
I want to study physiotherapy to help people to get their body working again.
At the moment i am travelling in Germany (so much fun!) and trying to learn the language- though it may have seemed easier than it actually is :P
I love climbing walls and trees and especially when there is fruit in the tree! Actually, i love foraging and finding wild fruit to eat, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To host and meet people from all over the world, to be of even the smallest level of help to people who need it :)

I have hosted couples, pairs of friends, large groups of random travelers (i think we had 5 in one night at a point), shy first time surfers, outgoing personalities and i will say that i have been left with a beautiful global friend group!

Also, to travel and see the world and to know I can always fall back on help if I need it.
To meet people from different countries, cultures, histories, experiences; to learn and share and deveolp my world.

I have tried to Couchsurf a few times but it seems to be very hard to get a first host! I'm glad i have had the opportunity to help out other first time surfers.

Interests

I like all kinds of music.
I enjoy reading and i TRY to write and also try to grow plants >.<
Practicing fire twirling and Parkour, exploring- forests, cities, abandoned buildings.
Generally, anything that provokes some sort of emotion or thinking, poses a challenge or obstacle to overcome, i'll enjoy it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How can i define what is amazing? Some larger-than-life, landing on the moon, world-changing spectacle? Because everything can seem amazing; even the smallest gesture of something personal, like making a bracelet for a friend, is amazing!
My hobbies include parkour and fire twirling, and some people will find them amazing. I find it amazing to plant a seed and watch it sprout into a seedling and then to eventually flower.
I saved up enough money to travel to another country- multiple times- isn't that in itself, possibly, amazing?
I planned a trip to Turkey and Germany 4 days before leaving (yep!).
I visited the humble grave of the Brothers Grimm.
I can do a wall run and overcome a wall twice my height!!
I hiked safely multiple times down from George House in Fethiye, Turkey, to Butterfly Valley ;)
I have spent the last 2 weeks volunteering at a biohotel on Berlin and for so so so many reasons it has been a more than amazing experience!
