HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use couchsurfing to lubricate my current travelling expeditions. Whenever possible, I host travelles or meet them to exchange tales. When I'm on the road, I enjoy meeting locally settled people to provide company and enhance my understanding of the place I'm temporarily in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Saigon, where I lived for 6 months, I hosted surfers in my apartment. As I am currently on the road, I will be looking to enhance my journey by meeting couchsurfers to exchange stories, facilitate cultural understanding or simply to provide a bed for the evening.

Reading is my primary passion. I cannot remember the last time I left the house without a book.

Whilst on the road, it's more difficult to keep up with films but my current favourites are directed by Charlie Kaufman, Wes Anderson, The Coen Brothers, Del Toro or Christopher Nolan. I usually tell most people I meet to watch Detachment too, that's a pretty decent film.

These passions do not comprimise my firm belief that we are, above all, social creatures and thus socialising, the exchanging of ideas, anecdotes, stories and sharing ourselves (preferably with food and/or drink) makes up a large portion of my life - whether it's with old friends and strangers I've just met.
