About Me

ABOUT ME

My name is Daniel, I'm an archaeologist really interested in Medieval Europe. Right now I'm a lecturer in the Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel, and right now, just need a place to stay to give a talk about the critical role that archaeology should play in contemporary society in Germany!

Interests

I love archaeology, history and I guest that everything that have resisted the past of time. Right now I'm trying to start writing a research proposal to aplly for a PhD scholarchip, hopefully in U.K. My area of interest is the Early Medieval period and everything related to the interactions between the Germanic tribes and the Romano British in western Britain.

Besides my academic persona, I can say that I like literature a lot and that would never say not to a pint of Ale. I like wadering around old cities and spending a lot of times in museums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dug in a Spanish Castle and help to register a Scotish Dun. I saw the coast line of Anglesey and visited the birth and resting places of King Arthur. I offered flowers to Wilde in his grave in Paris, and watched the sun going down behind Silbury hill during Samhain.
