ABOUT ME

I grew up near Miami and spent much of my childhood in the Bahamas. This undoubtedly led to my love of the sea. After university, I began working in the shipping industry for a marine salvage company. We specialize in emergency response and wreck removal of large commercial ships around the world. Great job that has afforded me the opportunity to see the world and get paid for it! Moved to London from Florida in early 2013 to help set up an office. Currently focused on advancing my career while continuing to explore the world and meet new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was exposed to couchsurfing about two years ago when I randomly crossed paths with two Swedish girls who were couchsurfing at a friends house. We got along quite well and subsequently I invited them to the Bahamas in what turned out to be one of the more memorable trips of my life. I realized the value of CS - meeting new and interesting people while also getting plugged into the local scene at the particular area your visiting. I'm not a fan of the tourist spots and having a CS host who can show you the local spots is of true value.

A good meal - I really enjoy eating, drinking and socializing my way around new cities while mixing in some cultural along the way.
