Currently waiting tables in Birmingham, Alabama. I am from San Antonio, Texas but have lived a few other places. I studied philosophy et le français in Texas and abroad. I would like to do some long term travel in South America and Central Asia. I really like to read, dance, cook and converse.

Movies-Most recently The Pianist blew be away; Music-ska, samba, classical, and a mix of other stuff; Books-most anything by Toni Morrison, Derrick Bell, N. Scott Momaday, Emily Dickinson, W.B. Yeats, Samuel Beckett, Jack Kerouac, Hal Borland, but my favorite is James Baldwin.
