Hello!Nice to meet you! My name is Daniele, and I’m an Italian guy with a deep passion for scientific research, particularly in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. It’s a truly fascinating world where I’m involved in developing new drugs for treating various diseases.
When I’m not in the lab, I engage in several sports activities, and calisthenics has captured my interest in recent years.
I’m also a music enthusiast, especially when it comes to electronic genres, but there is also a classical side to me, in fact I am currently learning to play the piano, which happens to be my favorite instrument.
Besides all this, I enjoy cooking various Mediterranean dishes, primarily plant-based since I’m a vegetarian. However, if there’s something interesting to try, I don’t hesitate to make an exception now and then.
I firmly believe that life is a gift, so I spend my time seeking deeper understanding and enriching myself with the stimuli that surround me :).

I believe my taste in music might surprise you. Throughout my days, I listen to a diverse range of artists, from Dire Straits to Ludovico Einaudi, with a detour to Fisher, a brief stop at 50 Cent, and finally reaching Bad Bunny. My musical preferences are quite eclectic, and I enjoy exploring music from past decades.
Regarding films, I have a strong affinity for those that feature individuals with unique intelligence, solving problems or creating something groundbreaking that was previously deemed impossible. An excellent example of this is The Imitation Game. Additionally, I must confess my obsession with Rocky; I’ve watched it countless times, ahahah!
As for books, I gravitate toward scientific and psychological genres. Currently, I’m engrossed in Atomic Habits by Tiny Changes.

I volunteered on the island of Lampedusa, in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, to protect the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta).
It was an incredible and profound experience.. 🐢💙
