About Me

I'm a happy lively guy from Italy and I currently live in Austria, where a family is hosting me in exchange of some babysitting/private teaching for their kids (age 12 and 14). I love learning new languages, meeting new people and I have many hobbies varying from music (piano, drums, guitar, singing) to videomaking (I'm an educational YouTuber with 12k subscribers).
I love playing football, I go running sometimes in the morning and I eat everything trying to taste something new once in a while.
Until now, thanks to my au-pair experiences and some extra money, I managed to visit a lot of Italy (my home country), Denmark, France and I currently live in Austria, which I'm sloooooowly visiting when I have some free time.
Next stop: Germany this July C:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is purposeless if there is no contact with other people. I could see all the museums, the shops, the statues and paintings but that would never fulfill the idea of "world=family" that I have in my mind. I'm sure people from everywhere have their stories, their adventures, their lives to share.
Or maybe a favorite dish or local music or who knows what.
I'm looking for you and I am eager to discover how you will change my life.

Interests

I'm a self-taught musician and singer. I play piano and I'm learning guitar/drums. I love making videos for YouTube, where I currently have 12.000 people following me and I work as au-pair in Austria, where a family hosts me in exchange for some babysitting/private lessons for their kids (12yo & 14yo).
I love learning languages and I can fluently speak the ones I listed above. I'm currently studying to become a middle-school language teacher and I'm a passionate activist in defense of human rights, especially kids/teens rights.
I travel to understand better myself and the world, making sure to learn/experience as much as I can, so that my mentality is always fresh and wider.

Music, Movies, and Books

REALLY hard question.
MUSIC: I love listening to different genres, but I'm mainly in pop-rock music, sometimes classical, sometimes soul, sometimes choral. It really depends on how I feel. Huge fan of Queen, Michael Jackson, James Brown, Sting and many others. I also listen to music in other languages, even musical soundtracks.

MOVIES: I love dramatic/intense movies. Can't choose any favorites, but what comes to my mind right now is a movie I managed to watch 3 days ago called "Meet Joe Black", with Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. Or "Pay it Forward" with Kevin Spacey. Depending on the mood it happens I watch totally useless but funny movies, like Scary Movie or stuff like that.

BOOKS: I'm currently reading the whole bibliography by Rudyard Kipling. I like reading inspiring stuff or books that give you other points of views about society (the best one was "Teen 2.0" by Robert Epstein).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've jumped from a plane (4000m) and I'm scared of heights, so that was actually retarded from me haha xD

Teach, Learn, Share

As I wrote above, I'm trying to learn as many languages as possible. I also am really captivated by new teaching methods, cultural facts, challenging points of views.
I love talking, I love sharing what I've seen and learned in these years and I definitely appreciate when people show me their world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can surely teach you my language, I can share with you my stories and I wouldn't mind hanging around with you. I love talking, I will try to learn your language and if you have some common interest with me, it'd be great to make something out of it (music? let's play together; school? let's talk about it! and so on)
