Overview
About Me
Hey there! I’m Danielė, a Lithuanian traveler, animal lover, and nature enthusiast. I work remotely as a Project Manager for a Dutch company, which allows me to live and travel wherever I feel most inspired. Over the past few years, I’ve called Lithuania, Sweden, Austria, Malta, and Poland home — I have a bit of a habit of moving to a new country every year!
I’m passionate about exploring both cities and the outdoors — I love hiking, discovering new cafés, and finding those little local gems that don’t show up in guidebooks. Sports are also a big part of my life — basketball, badminton, tennis, football — I’m always up for some friendly competition.
I’d describe myself as open-minded, tidy, curious, and kind. I love learning from people, hearing about their journeys, and sharing stories over a good meal or a walk through town.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ll be solo traveling the world through TrustedHousesitters, but between sits, I’ll have some flexible “in-between” days where I’d love to explore new places with the help of locals. Couchsurfing feels like the perfect way to do that — connecting with kind, open people who love their city and are happy to share it with others.
I also really enjoy hosting when I’m back home. Showing visitors around Lithuania and helping them discover our nature, food, and traditions gives me so much joy and pride. It’s my way of giving back to the travel community that has given me so many unforgettable experiences.
For me, Couchsurfing isn’t just about a place to stay — it’s about exchange, stories, and genuine human connection.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's hard to choose my favorite type of music, so I will share my top artists of this month (according to Spotify): Chet Faker, Celine Dion, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Wilco, and Billy Joel. This list will change month to month, depending on what I'm looking for in music in that period :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
About five years ago, while I was studying in Sweden, I joined a work-and-travel program in the U.S. and spent four unforgettable months living and working in Bryce Canyon National Park. Those months were some of the best of my life — I completely fell in love with the desert landscapes, red rock mountains, and endless starry skies. I’m already planning to return in 2026 to revisit that special place that still feels like a second home.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing travel tips and hidden gems from all the places I’ve explored! I actually keep lists of my favorite spots — from cozy cafés and scenic viewpoints to unique experiences — in every city or country I visit. Over the years, I’ve collected recommendations from all around Europe, unforgettable hikes in Utah, and adventures across Vietnam. If you’re planning to visit any of these places (or just love hearing travel stories), I’d be more than happy to share my lists and help you plan your next trip.
