About Me

I'm a psychologist student living in Italy for 4 months. I'm a senior and I'll graduate next year, so this is the perfect time to enjoy my last moments in college.
Usually I travel with friends, but this experience in Italy was a turnpoint, because I came not knowing anyone and now I'll leave with a lot of memories and friendships.
I'm very open to new people, but I also respect their personal space and their schedules. I think I'll be a great host/guest, cause I'm very organized, I'm always on time and I love to interact and socialize with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The thing I most love about traveling is to explore the cities and get lost in it. This always leads me to incredible places and to meet nice people. Moreover, I get fascinated by the things I learn/discover about the place, the locals and the culture. Being on Couchsurfing provides me a different perspective of the cities, cause the locals know it best, especially the non touristic places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living abroad in Italy was the most brave thing I did. Although I had studied the language for 4 months before coming, I wasn't used to the language, and now I can read, speak and write properly. Furthermore, I knew that I'd have to make new friends and start from scratch because I was going to travel solo. After experiencing all I can say that I became more independent and more skilfull about organizing my time so I can accomplish all my chores of the day (go to the supermarkert, do laundry, studying, explore the city and enjoy time with my friends).

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested, I can teach you a little bit of Portuguese, English or Italian, and also talk about my country. I'm also curious to learn about your culture and what locals live in your city, because being a tourist has its upsides, but the downside is only going to touristy places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Maybe we can have dinners or hung out together! Also, I can help in your apartment organization (e.g.: help to clean it) or buy something that you need (e.g.: toilet paper, soap).
