Finding more time for the things that I love. Also figuring out how to make superluminal speeds practical for everyday use, but so far I have not been extremely succesfull

ABOUT ME

As a matter of fact, two things will happen before I die: I will put foot on another planet (possibly in another stellar system) and I will shake limbs with an extra-solar life form.
On a more personal note, I am cheerful and friendly, but sometimes I crave to be alone. I can joke about anything. Some people say that I am insensitive, I just think that no thing in life should be taken too seriously. I have strong opinions about many things, and enjoy the company of those who have equally strong but different opinions. I don't like to fight but I like to discuss. I am stubborn and have problems admitting that I am wrong - but it can happen :) I am curious, skeptic and cynical. I am honest and straightforward, which sometimes can be a problem. I passionately dislike dogmas and taboos.

PHILOSOPHY

Challenge all beliefs. Take life easily. Few things are really important, and they look much less important anyway when you look back at them after enough time. Always look forward, the future is soooo cool.

All the surfers that I have met so far have been very nice and I really enjoyed their company.

Interests

I like to spend time with friends, travel and meet people. I don't like too much noisy and closed, crowded environments (like large parties). I am passionate about food, I like to cook and to share what I cook with a good company. I love reading, mostly hard sci-fi and crime stories, watching movies, listening to and playing music and table top games - even though I hardly have time for these things, especially the latter. I am not an extremely sporty person but I like to do activities outside, like hiking, biking or canoeing. I am very fond of wild life and wild environments, I love to find myself away from any signs of civilization. On the other hand, I am also very attracted by metropolitan areas and contemporary life style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two most unforgettable moments of my life. High in the Italian alps, at down, watching from a very close distance a herd of ibexes climbing the cliff and fighting to impress the females, the sharp knocks of the clashing horns echoing like gunshots in the silent morning mist. From the top of the Grand Canyon rim, Colorado, looking around and seeing only red mountains and green valleys stretching endlessly in all directions, the scary and strangely rewarding feeling of being alone at the center of the universe.
