About Me
After more than 10 years spent working as Car Designer in Italy and China I felt the moment has come to take more time for myself and the things I love the most. That's why in 2019 I decided to buy a one way ticket to South America and start travelling full-time. Sadly, after one year of incredible experience (including biking in the argentinian desert alone or sailing to Galapagos and Antarctica) I had to come back to Italy, due to the pandemic situation.
Since then I started alternating some short work projects with my rising passion for long bicycle and trekking trips: recently I've been biking more and more, with the last long trips being from northern Italy to Sicily, or from there to Romania, but I still feel I need to fly back to finish my south american trip properly, I owe this continent so much!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of sharing, it's the most natural way to get to know new people with interesting stories to tell.
Moreover, getting in contact with locals is essential in order to fully understand new places and cultures I'm visiting. In general, I believe there's always something new to learn from anyone's experience!!
Interests
Of course the first is travelling! Then I love drawing, cycling, hiking, diving, having fun with friends, drinking wine.... When I'm abroad I try to taste new varieties of foods and meet people from all over the world... I either like adventures in the nature and the dynamism of the cities...

Music, Movies, and Books
I love sci-fi books/movies/tv series, nature and science documentaries, rock and alternative music. I don't like discos too much, but if I find good company I can dance all night long!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maybe sleeping alone in the desert, knowing to be the only human in the 50km around. That's impressive how I felt as one with the planet!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Everybody has his own vision of life, and learning from others is always something positive for me.
I also hope my hosts could suggest me nice destinations around, outside the main travel routes, to feel not just like a tourist but more like a "local for one day".
In change, being italian I can tell you something about my country, teach you how to cook typical dishes or a little bit of my language.
Or, if you prefer, I can offer Photoshop and Car Design lessons😁
