About Me

👋 Hola! Hello! Ciao!

🙋‍♂️ My name is Daniele, but everyone calls me Dani. I’m originally from Italy, though I’ve been calling Spain home for the past few years.

✈️ In March, I’ll be embarking on an exciting journey to PAKISTAN—a land of incredible history, rich culture, and famously warm hospitality. I’m eager to pick up a few Urdu phrases, experience the generosity of Pakistani hosts, and immerse myself in the country’s vibrant art and traditions. As a ceramist, I’m particularly drawn to Pakistan’s exquisite craftsmanship and its legacy of traditional pottery.

🔥 I’d describe myself as VERY OPEN-MINDED, humorous, curious, and calm. I enjoy sharing stories, experiences, and ideas with others, and while I’m naturally friendly and talkative (not in the morning 😅), I always respect boundaries and value discretion. I believe in embracing diversity and hold no prejudices—cultural, sexual, or otherwise—and I strive to create an inclusive and welcoming space for all those I meet.

🌍 I have a deep appreciation for cultural differences and strive to adapt to local customs wherever I go. Each place I visit offers an opportunity to learn something valuable and unique.

🤓 My academic background is in POLITICAL SCIENCES, where I studied fascinating topics such as sociology, anthropology, human geography, and international relations. These studies have helped me understand the world in meaningful ways, and I enjoy thoughtful, respectful conversations about diverse topics.

🏺 However, my true passion is POTTERY & CERAMICS. I chose this path to step away from the fast pace of modern life and dedicate myself to creating with care, patience, and passion—just like in the old days.

🧳 I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and live in many cities, meeting inspiring people from all walks of life. I believe every connection leaves a lasting impact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🌲🌲I've planted trees that will one day give shade to others, even though I won't sit under them.

Teach, Learn, Share

🍝 Teach: I love cooking, and I'd be happy to share some of my grandma’s authentic Italian recipes with you. If you're into cooking, we can dive into making a proper Italian pasta together, where I can pass on a few tricks. Also, if you’re curious about pottery, I’d be excited to show you the process of creating something from scratch—it’s an experience that’s both creative and meditative.

🎨 Learn: I’m really looking forward to learning about the local arts and crafts, especially traditional pottery in Pakistan. I’d love to understand how different regions express themselves creatively, whether through their pottery, painting, or other art forms. Of course, I’m also eager to pick up a few words of Urdu and really experience the culture beyond just sightseeing.

💬 Share: Sharing stories and experiences is what makes travel special for me. I’m not just looking to be a tourist—I’m excited to dive into the real Pakistani experience, from understanding the everyday life of locals to enjoying spontaneous moments. If you’re up for it, I’d love to sit down over a cup of chai, share my experiences, and hear yours, creating a space for us to connect on a deeper level..

What I Can Share with Hosts

🍯 I’d love to share a unique piece of handmade pottery from my studio as a token of appreciation. Along with that, I’ll bring something sweet to enjoy together. Of course, I’m also excited for the chance to have meaningful conversations that go beyond the surface.

✨ My goal is to create an exchange where we both leave feeling inspired, enriched, and with a deeper connection, even if it's in simple, but lasting moments. I believe the best exchanges are the ones that go beyond what we give or receive—they’re about the memories we create together.
