I'm 32, i'm a teacher, a scout, a traveler 🌏🚶🏼‍♂️

I grew up in Modena, a little city in the north of Italy, my mum is from the north and my dad is from the south: in my blood I have the hard meeting of the two different parts of my country 🇮🇹. I have a elder brother and a younger sister, I never lived alone and sharing is how I became a man.
I'm a scout, i want to be a world active citizen and my way to help our society is teaching in primary school👨🏼‍🏫 and doing volunteering in the scout group i founded in Modena. I love traveling alone, I feel free and I can have my time, to explore the world outside and inside me.

Crecí en una pequeña ciudad en el norte de Italia, mi madre es del norte y mi padre es del sur: en mi sangre tengo la difícil reunión de las dos partes diferentes de mi país. Tengo un hermano mayor y una hermana menor, nunca viví solo y compartir es como me convertí en hombre.
Soy un explorador, quiero ser un ciudadano mundial activo y mi forma de ayudar a nuestra sociedad es enseñar en la escuela primaria y hacer voluntariado en el grupo de exploradores que fundé en Modena. Viajar solo me encanta, me siento libre y puedo explorar el mundo fuera y dentro de mi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because traveling for me it's not just collecting beautiful pics but it's meeting new points of view. I'm very curious about stories of the cultures of the places I'm exploring🧕👳🏽‍♂️. It's because of this that I totally prefer traveling in couchsurfing and I feel super lucky when I get hosted.🏡

Estoy en Couchsurfing porque viajar para mí no es solo coleccionar hermosas fotos, sino también conocer nuevos puntos de vista. Tengo mucha curiosidad por las historias de las culturas de los lugares que estoy explorando. Es por esto que prefiero viajar en couchsurfing y me siento muy afortunado cuando me alojan.

Interests

I'm a teacher, I love my work because it's my way to change the world. I'm a scout and I started traveling with them, so knowing people 👥and nature adventures 🏕️are in my dna. I love learning new languages because traveling speaking only English prevents me from having many experiences. I can cook Italian food🍝, I love singing and music, in difficult moments music always saves me.
I'm a climber 🧗🏼‍♂️and I love hiking: I can't travel if I don't feel the nature under my feet👣.

Soy maestro, amo mi trabajo porque es mi forma de cambiar el mundo. Soy un explorador scout y comencé a viajar con ellos, así que conocer a las personas y las aventuras en la naturaleza están en mi ADN. Me encanta aprender nuevos idiomas porque viajar hablando solo inglés me impide tener muchas experiencias. Puedo cocinar comida italiana, me encanta el canto y la música, en los momentos difíciles la música siempre me salva.
Soy escalador y me encanta ir de excursión, no puedo viajar sin sentir la naturaleza bajo mis pies.

Reading is my way to travel with my mind, in book I find other worlds and I can explore also myself. I love children literature, I always start my classes reading some classic book. My favorite writers are Italians: Mastrocola, Baricco, Carofiglio. When I was younger I read Tolkien, jk Rowling,🧙‍♂️ Ken Follett, Agatha Christie.
About movies I prefer the ones based on true stories, some of my favorites are "the green book", "si può fare", "call me by your name". (I'm addicted to some series)
I love music because it saves me when I'm sad, singing🕺🏼 in a bad day is my first step to start smiling again. I love sing with guitar in group, it's one of the things I love more in life.

Leer es mi manera de viajar con lqa mente, en el libros encuentro otros mundos y también puedo explorar yo mismo. Me encanta la literatura infantil, siempre comienzo mis clases leyendo algún libro clásico. Mis escritores favoritos son italianos: Mastrocola, Baricco, Carofiglio. Cuando era más joven leía Tolkien, jk Rowling, Ken Follett, Agatha Christie.
Sobre las películas prefiero las basadas en historias reales, algunas de mis favoritas son "el libro verde", "si può fare", "llámame por tu nombre". (tengo dependencia por series)
Me encanta la música porque me salva cuando estoy triste, cantar en un mal día es mi primer paso para comenzar a sonreír de nuevo. Me encanta cantar con la guitarra en grupo, es una de las cosas que más amo en la vida.

The most important thing I did in my life is teaching 5 years to 50 children and founding a scout group in my city. This is my way to change the world.

Lo más importante que hice en mi vida fue enseñar 5 años a 50 niños y fundar un grupo de exploradores scout en mi ciudad. Esta es mi forma de cambiar el mundo.
En mis viajes nadaba con tiburones ballena en Yucatán, escalaba con monos, saltaba en el río Amazonas con delfines rosados, senderismo en volcanes en Guatemala, hacía autostop en la Patagonia, acampamento en los alpes, esquiar en las dolomías, bucear en el mar Caribe, barranquismo en México, volcán boarding en Nicaragua, enseñar italiano a trabajadores sexuales e inmigrantes, saltar en un tren en marcha, volar en un globo de aire Caliente, bungee jumping en Austria.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a simple guy, I work with children and I try to be always smiling like them😀. I can cook Italian food🍝 and share my stories🌋. I will clean and i will lay my place how I found it🧽. I am a scout so I don't need a bed, I always travel with my sleeping bag, so I need only a roof!

Soy un chico simple, trabajo con niños y me gustaria de estar siempre sonriendo como ellos. Puedo cocinar comida italiana y compartir mis historias. Limpiaré y dejaré el lugar como lo encontré. Soy un explorador, así que no necesito una cama, siempre viajo con saco de dormir o hamaca, ¡así que solo necesito un techo!
