About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I quit my job on Feb/2015 and on Mar/2015 I left home to fulfill one of the dreams of my life: travel on my bicycle! In Aug/2015 I settled in Cd. de México to work for a while, save some money and eventually continue going south. So it's a nice opportuniy to host travellers again!

ABOUT ME

I'm a person trying to go through this life doing things that I think they're important/useful, for me and for the society. I consider myself an Anarcho-communist. I studied Economics in the Universidad de Sonora. I'm very interested in Philosophy, History, Politics, Literature, and science in general.
I hear music most of the time, even when riding bike (people says it's dangerous...). I like to meet new people, specially people who has histories to tell. I find them very very interesting. You know, the culture, the language, making and answering questions, sharing music. It's just awesome.
If you come to México I'm sure you'll have a great time. And if you come to the north of México, and you're hungry, thirsty, or need a beer to drink, don't doubt it! Call Daniel=P

PHILOSOPHY

I really believe in the capacity of the human being of creating a better world for all of us. I trust in working in community, in letting the others to enjoy of what i have, in a free education that leaves each one to choose what to do with their lives. I don't like people who forces others to do what they want. I believe in the power of masses, and in creating a world without borders. Nobody should be illegal. If money can circulate from one side of the world to the other, why humans can´t? Freedom of thinking, of moving, of expression.

No pidas garantías, no pidas seguridad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to contribute to this project, i think it's great. We, the people who like to travel, are all like brothers and sisters, and i think we should help one to each other in the way that we can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS's experience was meeting a good friend in Nürnberg, we went out for a walk and she made me realize that joining into Couchsurfing was a great decision. Thanks, Karo!
I've participated in meetings, and have hosted different people from different parts of this piece of rock and water we call "Earth". I will keep helping on this whenever possible.
Then, after 2 and a half years of being a member, finally I got to be hosted on a trip I did through the center part of México. It was awesome, and it only inspired me to keep on traveling. Thanks to everyone =)

Interests

I'm very interested in science. I love to study the ways of thinking of the humans, even if I do not agree with them. I like very much the different kinds of living that exist all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that have a message to tell and that make you think in something after you watch them. There's so much of creative on them. I could say that my favorite one is "Un mundo maravilloso".

On music, I can't say I have nor a favorite band nor a genre. I hear jazz, rock, punkrock, ska, reggae, rap, electronic music. Many kinds!

In books, i like novels, history books, and Economics for sure. I think that the best gift is always a book (or one of the best, you know...). Authors like George Orwell, Paco Ignacio Taibo II, Julius Verne, Carlos Fuentes, Friedrich Engels, Isaac Asimov...and the list just goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Training Taekwon do in the place where it was created.
-Ate a lettuce just five minutes after it was cutted from the floor.
-Drank water from a river on the mountains.
I like very much simple things like these...

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some of the history of this city, of Sonora, and of México. So if you are interested I can explain what I know about the old times and about the current situation. I have traveled to different parts of México, and I can share my experiences about those places. What I would like to learn, is how do you live back in what you consider "home" (if you do so) and your experiences in your travels. I love to listen to travelers. You are big part of what motivates me to leave home and sail away.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A roof with a bed, food, water, beer, and stories.
