Overview
About Me
I'm your average university student, with big ambitions but empty pockets, and a burning desire to escape the daily routine and travel the world. I like to meet people, hang out and have adventures of all kinds!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a great way to allow people passionate about traveling, like me, to meet up, share their experiences and have a wonderful time. My resources are limited at the moment, but it's definitely something I'm going to do in the future.
Interests
I'm a voracious reader, even tough I usually end up buying more books than I can actually read. I especially enjoy philosophical, history and classical books, but I'm pretty much up to anything as long as it picks my interest.
Music plays an important part in my life: it helps me get through each and every day, and when I'm really down, it reminds me of what is important in life, giving me the strength to carry on.
My philosophy is to enjoy life and make the most out of every opportunity, and I think that can be best accomplished only by traveling and experiencing new customs and cultures; which, in the end, is the only thing that matters.

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to Rock music and singer-songwriters, but I don't really have a favorite genre; as long as it's not commercial rubbish and actually has a meaning, I'd listen to almost anything. Some of favorite artists are: Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against The Machine, Johnny Cash, and also Italian songwriters such as Rino Gaetano, Fabrizio De Andrè and Caparezza.
I really love movies, but sadly I can never find the time to watch one from start to end. I've seen lots of great movies, but I think it's more appropriate if I write some of my favorite directors: Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, and the Cohen brothers.
Some of my favorite books are: On The Road and The Dharma Buns, by Jack Kerouac; The Grapes of Wrath, by John Steinbeck; 1984, by George Orwell; Walden, by Henry David Thoreau; Fight Club, by Chuck Palahniuk; Waiting for Godot, by Samuel Beckett; On the Genealogy of Morals by Friedrich Nietzsche; and The Ego and Its Own, by Max Stirner.
