ABOUT ME
After 9 years in Milan, now I am finally back in my homeland Sicily, enjoying sea beach food sun art culture and weather. I hope meeting nice people interested in discovering this stunning island .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interested in meeting new people and making new friends all over the world, I can host in Cefalù, near the sea, and love showing the beauty of Sicily .
I like spending time with the people I host, and this is the main reason why I am in Couchsurfing...it is not like a hotel where hosts just visit places independentely...if you are looking just for a place to sleep only one night probably it won't be mine...I am looking for easygoing people to spend time together when I am off from work, sharing experiences and cultures in front of a bottle of good wine or japan ice tea (that is not actually a kind of tea, as some misunderstood ;))), going to museums and monuments and beautiful landscapes, spending fun time at the beach in the daytime, having good meals, and dancing at clubs in the night ;-)
I must say that it is kind of sad for me when cs experience is a sort of hit&run, without getting in touch after the hosting, leaving you with nothing left...so I prefer warm and affectionate people, not just wanderlust cold wanderer .
Since I came back to Sicily recently, I do not want to travel, I prefer just hosting, making the world come to me and discovering together every hidden corner, treasure, glimpse, tradition, folklore and artistic monument of my island ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming back to Sicily despite a good job in the North of Italy,
and gaining the opportunity of enjoying the beach and swimming in the sea not later than 6 pm every day after work for 7 months per year .

Teach, Learn, Share

I can take pictures with my reflex, could bring you to discover places around, compare different cultures, could teach Italian and Sicilian gestures and Sicilian mentality,
I can cook some simple sea food recipes (mussels pasta and soup, pasta with clams, sea bass in oven, swordfish...)

What I Can Share with Hosts

two entire spare bedrooms with double beds, air conditioning system and mosquito net for the host part,
and two air mattresses to ride waves for the funny beach part...if you don't like playing with the mattresses...you are not good persons ;)))) .
