Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my travels I have been lucky enough to stay in someone's basement or sleep on their couch and I feel like it's time to give back. When I was in Sweden the town I lived in had no cheap accommodation options and I therefore offered my apartment to travellers when it was possible to do so. The couchsurfing community is a wonderful way for travellers to meet and share their experiences and recommendations. I would love to be apart of that community.

Interests

I love to travel and I'm sure you do too. I study architecture so anything architecture or art related is sure to get my attention. I like music, art, beer, board games, skiing and I love my dog Rosie.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm one of those people known by their friends to not watch many movies or read many books (I know, I'm terrible) but I have plenty of favourite bands. Tame Impala, Sticky Fingers, the Jungle Giants, Alt-J, Safia, Arctic Monkeys, Mac Demarco, Courtney Barnett, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Ty Segall, Kendrick Lamar, The Avalanches, Matt Corby, Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel, Smith Street Band just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last night at work I ate a whole bread-stick out of a container without using my hands because my hands were dirty.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment, I can provide a room and bed close to the city centre. I am working full time and studying but would hope to show a couchsurfer what I can of Canberra :)
