About Me
** Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (3rd Pfizer dose on May 2022) **
Hi! Hope you are doing well!
I am that kind of person that makes visits to Madrid worthier. Firstly, I enjoy living here and can help you discover, learn and enjoy it and places nearby. Secondly, I give importance to keeping good and great connections.
Currently I am looking to buy a home here (where friends and Couchsurfers will be welcome), meanwhile I live in a pleasant neighborhood of this big city with my mother and my two siblings (that's why I cannot freely host yet, unfortunately).
I am a creative, learning and travel person, so I am always growing in these three directions. In addition, I feel attracted by a wide range of ideas, specially those related with nature, culture and playing sports.
Outside my current job, where I produce software for the travel industry, I spend a considerable amount of time improving my musician skills and, specially during weekends, meeting friends.
I do not smoke and only taste alcohol on very special occasions.
I appreciate whatever you can offer, in fact you have already dedicated some time to me and I thank you for that! Do not be hesitant to reach out to me if you feel good vibes or wish to make a proposal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travels are amazing, inspiring and enriching. However, they become notably greater when the right people accompany or show up!
I made many of my past trips alone and managed to get to know people in most places where I had not any previous contact before. Thus, I find Couchsurfing as an additional but outstanding tool where I can find like-minded people that are willing to spend good times together and share skills and experiences.
I admire how the network can support and unite motivations, like for instance: experiencing the local, exchanging/boosting skills (e.g. languages), socializing during a vacation or an academic or business trip, increasing chances to travel, spending money or time wisely, organizing complex visits, engaging conversations, etc. All that is essential for a better world and a better life!
So far, I have only had two experiences where I was hosted (both awesome!), the rest of experiences where unforgettable encounters on the go.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music!
- Playing, listening and composing.
- Mainly player of guitars and cajon, but able to play a bit on other instruments (e.g. keyboard).
- About music styles and lyrics language: versatile, flexible , open.
- Currently learning cajon at renowned flamenco school.
- Currently learning vocal technique for (modern) singing.
- Can you present me new music? Or teach me basics on how to play an instrument or an style?
Movies:
- Not much free time for movies or series, a lot of them still pending to watch.
- Preference for movies that teach something or are very well performed. Less prone to boring, very absurd or terror films.
- Without preference for movies/series with a specific origin.
- Can you suggest some from your country?
- Some movies I liked: The Dark Knight, Shutter Island, Intouchables, La vita è bella, Django Unchained, The pianist, Monsters Inc., Eastern Promises, Si può fare, Celda 211, Enemy at the Gates, Guardians Of The Galaxy, etc.
Books:
- Library tourist but I am used to read technical and language books (self-learning). Ocasionally I read about other topics: business, finance, travelling, hobbies, refurbishment, sport technics, ...
- Some of my favorite literary ones: Niebla, Le Petit Prince, The Kite Runner, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Sandboarding in the Great Sand Dunes National Park of Colorado, USA (they are the tallest dunes in North America). Although I had never done table sports before, I was on my own, I wore none protection, dust was harassing , climbing was hard, ... I enjoyed too much.
2. Being involved in Board of European Students of Technology (BEST), which is an NGO that is the largest student association in Europe. I am now alumni of it and you can read more information about in www.best.eu.org. In BEST we organize several events that benefit students, universities and companies and connect therefore people from 95 universities in 33 countries. Lots of students in Europe have travelled at very low budgets and made many friendships thanks to it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share knowledge about:
- Playing musical instruments (primarily guitars and cajon) and composing.
- Music styles, including flamenco.
- Spanish and French language, perhaps German and a bit of Cyrilic alphabets.
- Software engineering, telecommunications, audiovisual technologies.
- Things from my country or any that I have already visited.
- Things about Europe.
- Riding a bike and basic repairs.
- Playing chess.
- ... (ask)
I like learning about the places and lifes I visit; preferring usually a local experience rather than the just the tourist one. Moreover, I like to absorb cool knowledge people have (to name something: a hobby, a profession or topics where I am not developed, like cooking).
What I Can Share with Hosts
- Train you in the topics mentioned above.
- Coach you to optimize your travel plans.
- Coach you to develop a career in my sectors or to get a job if you lack specific skills.
- A place to stay in Madrid once I can host.
- A tour in Madrid and its surroundings.
- Mate for a variety of plans: go hiking together, visit (some exhibition, place or event), etc.
- Good moments and memories.
