About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Simplifying my life to the bare minimum so there's more freedom, time and resources to live meaningful experiences with people that really matter to me and to make new friends and learn new things traveling around the world for the next 10 years or so and make a vlog/blog to help people to the best of my abilities, so they can also start living a more intentional and happy life.

ABOUT ME

I'm a graphic designer/photographer/video maker/teacher/game developer/masseur/cook/etc, and future vlogger.

I try to earn a living by doing what I like and I've had many degrees of success in everything so far, but more than that, the experiences were always worthwhile!

Personality wise I'm very calm, curious and optimistic. I'm always in a good mood, always up for anything new or interesting. If your question starts with "Let's..." my answer will probably be "Sure!".

I don't drink or smoke but I don't mind if you do and I'll try anything at least once (withing rain of course 😅).

I can handle hunger, fatigue, discomfort, pain, weather and unforeseen events quite well and I never get angry at anything done to me and I can always think and analyze things calmly and manage stressful situations peacefully and reasonably (traits that come in handy for traveling). My weakness is sleep deprivation, I really need good rest to be happy 😅.

People, places and experiences are my life focus now, I´m committed to the pursuit of true happiness (whatever it might turn out to be) with as many detours as necessary.

I´m getting rid of all the clutter so I can be free to spend my limited time in this short life with things that really matter to me and I´m not afraid to be a bit different than the norm and live life, intentionally according to my own terms and values, even if it means being judged or disappointing society's expectations of me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before Couchsurfing, I've worked as volunteer in several farms in Japan (WWOOF). Many were life changing events, the hosts were amazing people and I had a great time in all of them and many epiphanies that really made an impact in my life. I've learned how little we need to be happy and what's important to me after all. (It kinda counts as a Couchsurfing experience right?)

In Peru I had my first real Couchsurfing experience and it was amazing! The people I've met became friends for life and the experiences are forever engraved in my mind. In Japan I also had amazing hosts and experiences! More of this? Yes please!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very patient and people say I am a natural teacher so I guess I can teach you anything you're interested (as much as I'm able) and I do have professional experience teaching Graphic Design, English, Portuguese, and Massage (Shiatsu, Anma and Classic massage).
I'm also a photographer and video maker so I can teach you about it or shoot some nice pictures/footage for you or any personal project you're involved with.

I can teach you basic conversational Japanese or advanced Portuguese or English as well if you're interested (Although if you could read this far you probably know as much English as I do but we can always use some practice right?).

I can cook fairly well and help around the house, and if you have children, I'm a kid magnet (not sure why but whenever there's kids anywhere, they tend to follow me around all day) and I taught in elementary schools in Japan so I can help with them too.

For the martial arts inclined, I can teach a little Jiu Jitsu, Aikido or Capoeira moves and techniques or just be your training partner for the day.

If you need help with personal projects I would also love to help and of course I can offer a good chat about anything at all (love it!).

I can also always return the favor by hosting you at my place in Brazil : )

I'm currently learning the Ukulele, guitar and Piano so I would love to learn from more experienced musicians and I'm also very interested in learning programming for my game development projects so, count me in if you know any of those!
