About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be here now

ABOUT ME

I have been working in Australia for the past 2.5 years, and now I finally get to travel around it!
I hit the road on the 28th of Feb 2015 and will be all over Australia for the next 3 months.

PHILOSOPHY

The ultimate purpose in life is to have a quality amount of time on earth, and experience all human emotions.

Live hard, drop dead.

Life is not forever; cliche, I know.
But my take on it is that in order to live a fulfilling life one must come to terms with the fact that death is imminent, that in order to wake one must sleep; to run one must stand still.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to meet couchsurfers everywhere I go.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosted by good people in France, Australia and NZ. I have also hosted many people (CSers and non-CSrs) when I had an apartment in Brisbane.

I usually meet up with CS groups when I visit a new place, and find it very refreshing and welcoming.

Interests

When I'm not working, I spend my time working out (lifting, crossfit, running, swimming) and competing in endurance races. I play guitar, and I do it a lot when I am at home by myself. I also do quiet a bit of dancing; Houston is a good place for going out to Latin clubs. I like to cook and spend time at home doing 'house projects'

^^ That is me from 3 years ago. Work in Regional Queensland has consumed my life for the past year. I still put sometime into the gym, working on powerlifting type training.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am amazed at how easily stereotypes dissolve with travel. I have met caring, compassionate, friendly, honest people in every country I have set foot.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my opinions and experience with nutrition and exercise. Also, my musical interests and knowledge.

I would like to learn the costumes and local cuisine in every place I visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good food, good stories, and always a helping hand on daily chores.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Dominican Republic, New Zealand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Mexico, Peru, United States
