I was born in Australia from portuguese parents. I've travelled quite a bit. I like to go on new adventures and meet exciting new people! :) I'm interested in music, dance, good food and travelling! I love going to concerts, gigs, theatre, and the movies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met people through couchsurfing while they have been travelling around Australia. Showed Brisbane city sites for example, Lone Pine Park, and GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art).

Music, Movies, and Books

The genres of music I really love to listen to are: Soul, and Jazz. At the moment I'm hooked on Gypsy Jazz. :D

Favourite Movies: A Mar Adentro, Volver, Manhatten by Woody Allen, Vicky Cristina Barcelona by Woody Allen, Priceless, Amelie, Moonrise Kingdom, Taxi Driver, Broken Circle Breakdown.

I've read almost all of Isabel Allende's books. She writes historical novels. She is one of my favourite author's. She's an inspirational woman who fights for women's rights and justice, helps people in impoverished nations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a hot air balloon ride over Moravia, Czech Republic. It had to be the most beautiful countryside to ride over in a hot air balloon! :) Medieval Castle overlooking a lake, thick dense green forest and then the agricultural countryside of Moravia. Once in a lifetime experience! :D

Other wonderful things I have done: skiing on the steep slopes of the mountains which featured on Lord of the Rings trilogy in New Zealand. The remarkables mountain (featured in the movie), coronet peak, carona.

Participating in a Maori traditional dance, going on a crazy jetboat ride skidding across the water at crazy high speeds, hang gliding in Hamilton island (it was hang gliding but attached to a wire lol) still fun! :) Going on a yacht ride in between two islands (Australia) in the middle of a storm (scary!! :-o).
