Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm here to give and to receive hospitality.
ABOUT ME
I am Austrian, Polish, Hungarian and a bit Latin-American. Born, raised and grown up somewhere inbetween. At times more at times less.
My hometown is Vienna, but my parents are from Poland and Hungary. With this diverse background, I think it was inevitable that I was meant to enjoy cultural diversity. Be it music, languages or cultures. It's simply the greatest treasure we have. Because of the endless possibilites that lie within cultural variety.
PHILOSOPHY
Curiosity, tolerance, respect, understanding and love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sometimes more sometimes less.
Be patient with me - i'm not always at home, not always have time. But when things work out I'm trying to be a good host :)
Interests
Of course I love travelling, meeting people from all over the world - stuttering some words in their language, just to be corrected and learn the right pronounciation. Languages are great.
I really love music. There was a time when I was really good at playing the guitar - by now it's just thrumming. But that's enough to write songs and play in my worldmusic band matatu.
Oh yeah, since I study graphic design I really enjoy graphic design and photography. Would you have guessed? Yep, I'm totally into taking pictures of places that I find breathtaking. And there are quite a lot of these.
I could actually continue the list ... but I think that's it for now. We can have a tea or wine and talk about that in Vienna or your hometown!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music from the Balkans! Gypsy music, Hungarian music, latin, worldmusic in general, folk music from any country (because that's the most authentic music), jazz, flamenco, drum'n'bass, rock, ...
Heinrich Böll, Max Frisch, ..
Desperado - although it's crap, it still has style! Amelie, Transylvania, Vengo, Jeux d'enfants ...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed a volcano in Nicaragua. On of the most thrilling things I've done in my life. Morocco was intense, but awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
Language exchange! I heartily offer every language I speak and I really appreciate any phrase of your language. It's like a souvenir you bring home. Just that it never gets lost.
Opinion exchange, design skills, drawing techniques, photographic tricks, artisan handcraft stuff, folktales ... there's so many interesting and worth to learn things out there!
