About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel while you're young and able. Don't worry about the money, just make it work. Experience is far more valuable than money will ever be.

ABOUT ME
Hey guys,
my name is Daniel, 21 years old and currently travelling around the world. After staying in Aussie for a couple of months I enjoyed half a year working and travelling around in New Zealand having lots of fun with different people. Last week I came back from an awesome backpacking trip in Samoa. After staying in Australia for a moment again I arrived back home in Germany June 2013.

After quitting uni I continued to save some money again to realise my next trip in June: TURKEY!
Already started to learn this interesting language to make the most out of my trip and experience the country in a deeper way. :) Can't wait!

I am an open-minded person and I love to spend time with my friends doing spontaneous stuff playing Handball together or just chillout. I love nature and outdoor sports and adventures.

But the best thing is to go out and see the world with its beautiful places and friendly people.
PHILOSOPHY

I just do what I wanna do! Enjoy meeting people, enjoy different cultures, just enjoy life. Experience as much as you can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for a week in Sydney and spent some time with some Kiwis in New Zealand I met while travelling - not via CS. But the experience is the same - awesome!

Interests

In my spare time I do lots of sports like jogging, biking oder just playing some soccer with my friends. In fact I love doing nearly every kind of sports.
I'm passionate about playing Handball with my team back in Germany.
Taking pictures is another hobby I spend a lot of time with, especially in nature.
And what shouldn't be missing: hanging out, drinking a beer with my friends - going out and enjoying life!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie I would say is Slumdog Millionaire. Such a good story rich with character and emotion.
but movies like "Pursuit of Happiness", "Taken" and "Blood Diamond" are also some of my favourites.

I am not listening to a special kind of music. . Currently indie pop might be my fav genre I'm listening to atm. But There are many songs of different genres I like.

And concerning books I am not reading a lot but if i am reading i prefer thrillers or just non-fiction books so I learn something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving over the Southern Alps in New Zealand
Doing the 134m Bungy in NZ
But swimming with the turtles in Samoa was a magic moment as well.
And my whole trip was just incredible!
