What's up! I'm Daniel Kody! Stuff about me? Ok. Well, I'm a man of many hairstyles(and beardstyles). So if you ever see me in person I will probably look completely different than my profile pic.
I love traveling. Love love love love. I love seeing new places and things.
I'm a little awkward at times. Sorry bout it!
And I can be shy meeting new people, but after that initial stranger stage, I'm pretty dang social.
I like the British spelling of colour because it looks cool.
I'm really quite energetic. And I live on little sleep all the time. Though if I get a chance to sleep in, I love to do it.
I'm a city boy. I'm in love with the city life. It's busy, it's energetic, it never sleeps. Like me!
However, I enjoy and appreciate nature. I could hike and explore all day. Just come along with me!! And try and keep up!
Home for me is and always will be Las Vegas. It's beautiful in it's own way and I absolutely love it. I love the heat, I love the atmosphere, I love the people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't yet couchsurfed. However, over the course of my year touring with Acquire The Fire, I have encountered couches, beds, and mattresses of many shapes and sizes. And have been eternally grateful for every single one of them.

Interests

SCIENCEEEE.
I will gleefully read anything involving science. Whether it be theories on spacial expansion, or the intricacies of the DNA, I'll read it.

Extreme sports. I'm a beginner adrenaline junkie. I'm just getting started leaving the nest of my parents and I'm raring to live life. Which includes doing some pretty crazy stuff. I wanna do it ALL!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies. All. My top two movies of all time are Yes Man and the Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I will always love Star Wars. Can't go wrong with the classics.

Music. Almost all. Though I love Punk and Indie. My favorite artists right now are Manchester Orchestra, Trevor Hall, and Hollywood Undead. But they change ALL the time.

Books. Anything Sci Fi or Fantasy. I love Arthur Clarke and Cornelia Funke.
I'm currently going through the Wheel of Time series right now.
I also appreciate historical fiction, such as The Hittite by Ben Bova.
Books that can truly capture the feel of an exotic locale. Truly intoxicating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I put on several youth conferences for thousands of teens all across the USA.
I've zip lined in Jamaica, scuba dived in the Sea of Cortez, and even gone cave tubing in Belize.
Though, I must say, the favorite thing I've ever done is hardcore caving in Pennsylvania. It's so eerily beautiful.
