ABOUT ME

Teaching in Uganda and working here for a couple of years! Have lived here since February of 2008 and lovin' it! Shoot me an email if you just want to meet up for anything, drink, meal, movie whatever!

I am a weird, relaxed care-free individual from Oregon in the United States. I like to talk to people and often a conversation with me in a 5 minute period would go from talking about cheese, to rugby or football, to the girl I just saw on the corner, to an apple I just bought from the dairy to my knee hurting to the smell that asparagus gives one's urine, to the lack of soft green grass in a city park...I like people nad meeting people and would rather walk or ride my bike somewhere then take car...not that I am opposed so much to automobiles as I love my '85 SAAB. But anyways...

PHILOSOPHY

If you can look back on your life thus far and find that everything you have done and achieved outweighs anything negative that you've done then you are alright in my book....otherwise you've got some work to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Living in Uganda now for at least a couple of years...would love to at least meet up and chat or something!

I have heard probably a dozen people talking about couch surfing in the last 3 or 4 days, and decided I would like to be involved by having a couch available and hoping to show people around and also maybe giving me a chance to meet some good people and having fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed a couple of couches in Australia and have at least met with many others! Would love to meet more, and especially now living in Uganda would like to meet heaps more people!

Tiny bikes that mice would ride on and oversize thimbles for giants that sow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

NOW THAT I HAVE ACTUALLY COME TO CHANGE MY PROFILE, WHICH I HAVE NOT DONE IN 1 YEAR, I REALISE HOW WEIRD I MUST BE:

I've sled down a street with only half an inch of snow on it on a pizza box at 3AM with only underwear on........That was the first thing that came to mind. Driving Fiji was jaw-dropping.
