Overview
About Me
My name is Dany. Like many of you I live to travel. Every 3-4 years I get a sudden itch, something inside of me tells me I need to live somewhere new. I pack up two suitcases, sell all I own and start a new life else where. This has caused me to adopt a mosaic of cultures. If you were to ask me where I am from, I would briefly panic, because it’s complicated.
The short version: What I do know is that I am Peruvian and Venezuelan thanks to my parents, born in USA, culturally very South African. I don’t really have a place I call home, but that’s ok, cause home is where my family is, and they also move a lot.
Some fun facts about me : I’ll try almost anything once. I never order the same thing off the menu. I believe we should never ever settle for anything in life. I get along best with people who travel a lot. I love to study, but I don’t like reading for fun. My dad calls me “perro callejero” (street dog) because I am always out and about.
I’ll be living in Seoul, South Korea by the end of August and will be welcoming people on to my couch, we can go party in Itaewon and Gangman :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never truly felt integrated by community unless it’s one of travelers. I’ve never used the app before until a good friend of mine told me about it, and now that I have more independence, I can accommodate people like me into my life.

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I have a passion for all sciences, wether it’s physics, biology, chemistry etc... I used to be a personal trainer so I can help you in the gym. I love teaching children, and surprisingly have the patience for it. We can practice your Spanish.
Learn: tell me about your culture, stories and views on the world. I believe people always have something to teach. It could be a skill, a life lesson or a different outlook. Everyone has something to give even if they don’t think they do.
Share: I am an alcoholic with a gym problem. Haha, just kidding. But I’m down to go or do about anything, especially a workout.
