Couch surfing has helped me to meet so many beautiful people! I absolutely loved the hosting experience while living in Sydney. Meet some great travellers from all around the world and really enjoyed showing them around the city. Now that I'm planning my upcoming trip to the States, I'd thought I'd get a taste of what life was like on the other side of the couch surfing experience and see if there's anyone out there in NY or DC willing to host an Aussie girl!

Movies - in no particular order, these ones come to mind... 'Princess Bride', 'City of God', 'City of Lost Children', 'Before Sunrise' and 'Aladdin'

Books - Just finished reading 'Cherry' by Mary Karr & would highly recommend! Next on my reading list are 'Dept. of Speculation' and Lena Dunham's 'Not that kind of girl'... I'll let you know how they go! ;-)
