About Me

I am 22 years old, currently living in Adelaide.
I was studying nutrition at university but have decided to put off uni until later on in my life. For now I just want to travel and see the world while I'm young, and experience life :)
I currently work as a bartender at a nightclub.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people from all around the world and make life long friends! I am very keen to meet like minded people who enjoy similar interests to me and love meeting new people too :)
I will hopefully be able to host some travelers this year if I get the chance (I still live with my parents though so this makes it a bit harder)
I am planning a Europe trip for 2017 and would love to be able to couchsurf while I am there and get immersed in the cultures of the countries I visit rather than just being a typical tourist.

Interests

I love traveling! However I haven't traveled nearly as much as I would've liked to, but I'm hoping to change that and experience the world more.

I love nature and I feel that being out in nature helps heal and soothe my soul. I love walking and could walk for hours and hours if I'm out in nature.

I love the beach! Swimming, snorkeling and boogie boarding are all favourite past times of mine.

I do the best I can to care for the environment and I love people who are like minded about this.

I love music, and I'm open minded about listening to different genres. However my favourite genres are rock, indie-rock, indie-pop, indie-electronic. Some examples of bands/artists I like are:
Arctic Monkeys
The Kooks
The Strokes
The Wombats
Alt-J
Tame Impala
London Grammar
Daughter
Banks
Two Door Cinema Club
Bloc Party
Rufus
Northeast Party House
Sticky Fingers
Catfish and the Bottlemen
Violent Soho
etc.
Going to gigs and festivals is my favourite thing to do! I go to a gig nearly every week, so if you're here over the weekend you will most definitely be accompanying me to a gig of an amazing Australian act you probably haven't heard of yet but will be amazed (if you want to tag along that is :P)
Some festivals I've been to are Big Day Out, Soundwave, Laneway, Groovin the Moo, Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass
I am planning to go to Glastonbury next year if I can manage to get tickets, and I'd love to tag along with a group of people who live in the UK who are also planning on going!

I love food! I love cooking healthy food, but still having the occasion treat too. I am really into fitness and healthy living. I have recently starting learning pole dancing for fitness and am loving it!

I am a pescatarian. I also cook plenty of vegetarian and vegan meals though.

I also love to have a few cheeky drinks on the weekends and quite often go to bars in the city, so I'd be happy to take you out and show you the good spots and have you meet some of my friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a huge Harry Potter fan and totally not ashamed haha.
I watch more TV shows than movies as I find them more interesting and with the ability to have more character development and a stronger storyline
TV shows I like include:
Community
IT Crowd
Fresh Meat
The Inbetweeners
Big Bang Theory
Doctor Who
Miranda
Endeavour
Skins

I honestly think I would like most British shows that were shown to me as I love British comedy, dramas and murder mysteries

I used to love reading as a child but unfortunately I just don't get the time to read much anymore. Probably the last book I read would've been Gone Girl which was amazing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving 44 hours to attend this years Splendour in the Grass festival in Australia. Splendour is the biggest and best festival I've been to yet and it was an absolutely magical experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a host I would love to share my knowledge of Adelaide and all the amazing spots to visit, I pride myself on knowing some of the best secluded places to go.

As a traveler I would love to introduce you to some amazing Australian music I have discovered. I have a true passion for music and love to share my love with other people. Could also share some recipes for meals. If anyone happens to have a pole in their place and doesn't already learn pole dancing I could teach some very basic pole dancing moves.

Countries I’ve Visited
