I’m newly married to an Australian and we are a very relaxed down to earth couple who love traveling and meeting new people. We’re kind of living all over the place and our plans are always changing. I love to be outdoors and on an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m literally just starting out with couch surfers but it looks like an amazing way to travel and meet people. My partner and I have been house sitting lately as a way to travel but it would be amazing to couch surf between house sits and meet more locals. We also plan on buying a home in Revelstoke next winter (2019) and we would love to give back by offering fellow couch surfers a place to crash!

I love reading and listening to music. Favourite artist is probably Passenger because their music takes me back to Scotland!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am an Echidna whisperer - While living in Oz I sat down in our back yard to watch a wild echidna (super cute and slightly spiky Australian animal) and he waddled right up to me to say hello!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am desperate to learn another language! I also just started whittling and I love it! I taught my partner how to snowboard and would be happy to help out anyone else wanting to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My husband is a pastry chief and while he doesn’t often bake at home he is a really good cook! I also have a few tasty recipies up my sleeve. I’d be happy to help you get into whittling, snowboarding, snowshoeing, blogging or whatever haha. I am a very relaxed teacher. Both my Aussie and I are very responsible, clean and respectful. We love pets so if you have them we would love to help walk them and smother them with love. We’ve had only great reviews through trusted house sitters and we’re sure we’d be no different with couch surfers.
