About Me

I'm a high school English teacher from Phoenix. I make the most of my summer breaks by traveling as much as I can. I have road tripped all over the United States, so reach out to me if you need any suggestions or advice :)

Currently I am with roommates who are not as open about the idea of CouchSurfing, which is why I cannot host (but I am moving out at the end of this summer). But I would be happy to meet up with you and show you around Phoenix! Maybe even do a day trip to Sedona. Let me know if you need a guide or would like some suggestions.

Also, I am vegetarian, so if you can tell me about your city's best veg restaurant, I'd love you for it. (I can tell you about some incredible veg spots in Phoenix and around the country too)

I am currently on a solo backpacking trip through Europe through August 22nd. If you have any suggestions, I’d LOVE to hear them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Solo traveling can be a little lonely, and I want to make friends all over the world as well as experience your city more like a local would.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- ska and bluegrass are my guilty pleasures, but I also love musicals and just nice mellow indie/folk acoustic music.

Movies- I usually gravitate towards comedies, musicals, or Disney movies.

Books- Harry Potter, Ready Player One, anything Stephan King, and I'm really into memoirs right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is a solo road trip all the way across the United States.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an English teacher, so if you need any help with English, I can definitely do that. I also play the banjo, so I could share some of those skills. I’d LOVE to learn some of your country’s language and culture. I want to experience the country, not just be a tourist.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to make friends with you and host you if you come to America! I currently live in Arizona, however I will be moving to Oregon soon. I'd love to grab dinner or drinks and we can swap our best travel stories together.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belize, Czech Republic, England, France, Honduras, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Switzerland, United States
