Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My roommates and I got a call from one of our friends living an hour and a half away, saying that they had used couchsurfers and their guests were looking to stay in our town next. She asked if we would be willing to put them up for a few nights and we figured, what the heck, why not. We ended up having a great experience with our two french guests and I've been wanting to give it a try ever since.
