About Me

I grew up in China, and currently doing my exchange study in Hungary.
I love traveling, meeting new people and exploring the life style and culture in different countries. I have been solo trip for 7 years. A lovely couple hosted me in Taipei, gave me travel tips and share their stories with me, that's how everything started. I never stop the journey after that.
In the last 2 months, I’ve visited 15 cities in 6 countries in Europe, and it feels so amazing to make new friends along the way, hear stories of people from different background, try live like locals...
I used to worry too much about the future, afraid of trying new things, but people I met and things I saw made me feel alive again, teaching me how to be brave and live in the moment. Exploring new things is part of my life now. I started to pick up hiking, backpacking, language learning and always prepared to try something new. I'm also addicted to deep conversations. enjoy sharing stories, and learn about different cultures and perspectives, these happen A LOT during my travels. so traveling is one of my favorite ways to connect with people and the world around me, and I can’t wait to experience more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been couchsurfing in China for a long time(not in this APP) And there were so many wonderful experiences that I' hoping to continue this in Europe.
CS is a perfect place for this, Meeting locals, sharing stories, and embracing all kinds of culture. I want to meet locals and understand a city from a real person’s perspective, not just as a tourist. And I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and building international friendships. Different from staying at hotels, CS makes travel more human.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Moved to Budapest by myself this year, my first time ever leaving Asia, and had to start everything from zero. New language, new culture, new friends, even learning how to cook for myself for the first time. It was terrifying at the beginning, but it taught me how brave I can be and how lucky I am to have so many kind people helping me.
Learning to navigate a completely unfamiliar place made me more independent, more open, and much more confident. Looking back, it’s one of the most amazing decisions I’ve ever made!!!yayy!
-having deep conversation with my friends til 4am and went for badminton competition at 7am (not recommended)
